The Fund
On March 11th 2020, the World Health Organisation declared the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak a pandemic. With so many vulnerable low-income households and daily-paid informal sector workers in Lagos, measures taken by government to curb the spread of COVID-19 is creating extreme poverty.
The COVID-19 Fund is a social fund by IBILE Foundation to assist the most vulnerable members of society who are hardest hit by the COVID-19 outbreak to help cushion them from the economic impact. The Fund will also support charities and community organisations that are helping the most vulnerable.
